Mission: Our desire is to see students awakened by the gospel and thrive within the local church.

We see this desire fulfilled through the regular diet of expostional (verse-by-verse) preaching  through a book of the Bible, along with occasional topical studies, and equipping students with opportunities to serve Christ’s church.

Wednesday evenings are for 6th-12th graders.

The Sunday School classroom is one of the best ways for students to interact and grow together in their love for God, His Word, and one another. Our Sunday School classes are divided by grade level and gender.

We are excited for our annual trip to Oakes Farm in Corryton on October 7th!

We will be leaving from the Student Center at 2:30pm and will be at Oakes Farm from 3:00-7:00. At 7:00, we will return to the Student Center for pickup at 7:30pm.

Cost of the trip is $15 which can be completed through the event registration.

Bring extra money for food while at Oakes Farm.

If planning to go, you must register. The registration deadline is October 5th. Should you desire to make any changes to your registration, you must do so before October 5th. Tickets are purchased the following day and you will be expected to pay the amount agreed to.

Please note: We do have a limit on how many we can transport in our shuttle buses. Should you attempt to sign-up and the registration be closed, please reach out to me if you plan to arrive to Oakes Farm separately. We order the tickets in bulk to receive a group discount.

Due to Fall Break, there will be no student services on October 7th and 14th.

High School Seniors: You are invited to join the college ministry for CROSS CON27, December 31, 2026–January 2, 2027, in St. Louis, Missouri.

CROSS exists to call the next generation to make their lives count by making the name of Jesus known, with a strong emphasis on the gospel, the local church, and God’s heart for the nations.

This year’s theme, “This Day / That Day,” will challenge students to consider how the reality of eternity should shape the way we live faithfully for Christ today. We would love for our seniors to take advantage of this opportunity to be encouraged through biblical teaching, worship, and time together as they prepare for life beyond high school.

Hunter has served as the Student Pastor of FBP students since May of 2019. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Preaching and Youth Minstry from Johnson University and a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He is the proud husband of Leah, and father of Amelia and Charlotte.

Hunter is passionate about seeing this generation awakened by the gospel and equipping them to thrive in the local church.
